ICFAI Incubator and T-Hub Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote a robust innovation ecosystem, supporting technology-driven student startups and entrepreneurs from different parts of the country.
Sujit Jagirdar, Chief Innovative Officer of T-Hub, and L. S. Ganesh, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, exchanged the copies of MoU at the ICFAI campus on Tuesday.
“We believe in creating an environment where students and researchers can transform their ideas into scalable businesses. This partnership will harness the pan-India presence of the ICFAI Group, the expertise of its faculty and the experience of T-Hub in promoting entrepreneurship,” Ganesh said.
“The agreement will help foster innovation at the institutes of higher education. By bridging the gap between academic research and startup incubation, we aim to create a dynamic pipeline of future-ready entrepreneurs,” Jagirdar said.
Under the agreement, ICFAI faculty will contribute to mentorship, training sessions, and consultancy on business plans, and legal issues. The two organisations would jointly host nationwide entrepreneurship events. They would facilitate investor meetings and jointly develop investment opportunities for startups, an ICFAI spokesperson said in a statement.
