Amazon Great Indian Festival saw 38 crore customer visits in first 48 hours

The sellers received orders from every pincode in the country in 72 hours and more than 80 lakh products were delivered within the first two days

The ongoing Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF) 2025, which began on September 22, witnessed 38 crore customer visits during the first 48 hours.

The sellers received orders from every single pincode in the country in 72 hours and more than 80 lakh products were delivered within the first two days, K.N. Srikanth, Director, Home, Kitchen and Outdoors, Amazon India told reporters here.

The first few days saw record participation from small and medium businesses, compared to previous editions, that highlights the growing role of digital marketplaces in empowering local entrepreneurs. More than two-thirds of these SMBs are based in Tier-2, 3 cities and beyond, he said.
