Father-of-two Jermaine Baker, 28, from Tottenham, north London, who has been identified as the man shot dead by police during an alleged attempt to free convicts from a prison van outside Wood Green Crown Court on Friday. He was shot dead in a car positioned outside the court building. The incident has now opened a homicide inquiry and IPCC investigators are appealing for witnesses.
