okay very cool but like there's nothing else

Based on TIME FCUK.
[recommended text speed is 90-100]
[22/03/26 - oops, forgot to add this to flash forward as my submission, is fixed now]
Recently I replayed through Time Kfcu, and thought "woah, i forgot how much i love this game", especially how it did just things you don't really see in other flash games. Therefore, like a few hours ago, I thought "lol, im bored, im gonna recreate the tts from time kcuf just cause." And now, you're reading this.
STEVENSPEAK is the TTS from Time Cufk with Quality of Life improvements, custom in-puttable text, and more. I mostly made this for fun, but it also ended up challenging some of my actionscript 2.0 skills even if its a really simple gadget.
Don't expect that much cause like. That's like, kind of it.

Hmm, it's not a bad idea for a cute little nostalgia-themed TTS application, but the appeal didn't last long for me at all: once you enter in a few phrases, it feels like you've seen everything it has to offer, and it all sounds too garbled in the first place that it all just sounds the same.
Perhaps it could be more interesting with some modifiers to mess around with, but the only thing on offer is text speed which is super awkward to utilize since it's a text prompt that doesn't even have room for 3 digits (it really should be something more intuitive like a slider). The rest of the options like the city background toggle are...I'm not even sure why they are there wasting space.
This did get me to go back and play Time Fcuk though, so there's that!
Cool
Many thanks
This reminds me a bit of a tutorial that showed how Animal Crossing gibberish worked and how to recreate it. It's interesting to hear how some speech is actually kind of recognizable, while other bits definitely aren't. The presentation is quite good, but as you say it's a bit barebones.
