Massive Attack - Live With Me

So without the video it sounds like a song about seperation. But with the video it makes the song about addiction to me.

Alcholism is the obvious clue in the video. It makes me think of someone who's trying to come out of addiction, trying to accept it and ends up spiriling out of control.

Anyone else get these deep vibes?

I'm pretty sure that Metalheadz is the label @Chozz is signed to, so this is fine. A confirmation would be great!

There are tunes signed from metalheadz and 31 recordings in there. It's a live DJ mix that I did basically. All tunes legit bought, tracklist will be up soon (If this kinda stuff is permit would be good to get some clarification on that!), but the mixtape is not available for download.

It usualy takes me a whole day, sometimes two to finaly see that my track is not so gud.

Sometimes I'll work on a track all day really be into it, take a quick break and come back and it sounds horrible! Haha. It really sucks when that happens.

Or if you suddenly find your bass riff is smoke on the water xD

It's natural man. Lots of things affect it like you said. I've been battling with depression and drug addiction for many many years and for 2 years I've produced something like 5 songs that I've completed and about a million unfinished projects.

Sometimes you need to focus on the other aspects of your life and the inspiration will come. For me what got me back into it was buying a pair of decks.

In the mean time, just mess about. Get your sample library organised. Search search search for samples, remix ideas, competitions, make synth patches.

There's so much to do. You don't have to produce and release a song everytime you are in the studio. Try not to feel pressurised into doing that.
