My friends, the day has finally come.
The second biggest milestone of my career, after hitting 69 followers all those years back.
I have finally hit 420 followers!
Words can't describe how happy I am. I didn't think it would come so soon, but it did. You guys have been absolutely awesome, and I can't express my appreciation for all of you enough.
However, I would like to shout out a few people who have had the biggest impact on my music career. I am sorry if I missed you, there have been so many important people I've met on Newgrounds, that I don't think the Newgrounds limit would allow me to write about you all. So if you're not mentioned here, know that I do appreciate everything you've done and the support you've shown me. If this applies to you, there might be a little something hiding for you somewhere ;)
First of all, @50Steaks. It wouldn't be right if I didn't show my appreciation for you first. For those of you who don't know, 50Steaks has been my friend since 2021. We found each other shortly after we both joined this site, and we've been growing together as musicians since. I honestly, don't think I would be here if it weren't for his support. Thank you 50Steaks, your comments and feedback kept me motivated to make more music and always gave me something to look forward to back when nobody even knew who I was. I can't state my appreciation enough. Thank you.
@Benji-G, you've helped me so much in terms of learning how to use FL Studio. Teaching me how to improve the overall quality of my music. You even helped me set up my mastering chain xD. You also helped me a lot with making orchestral music, which can't be understated. You've played an instrumental role in my music and I will never forget that! You also helped introduce me to the Newgrounds pub, provided me with community event opportunities and basically introduced me to the Newgrounds community. Thank you!
Special thanks to @Reanore for being my 420th follower. I will not forget you!
@Sirbeartoad, for tolerating me sending you my works in progress over the years. I don't feel I really need to say much here, you already know everything I have to say :)
@KokoroHatsaru, for being my 69th follower. I am a mature adult, I swear.
@Everratic, & @VociferousMusic.
You two probably had a bigger impact on me than I think you realize. Whenever I was stuck on a song, or didn't know what to make next, I would go over to you two to look for inspiration. Sometimes I would even try to remake sections of your songs in order to learn from it.
@DavidOrr & @Waterflame
While what I said with Everratic and VociferousMusic applies to you both. I wanted to thank you both separately because you actively helped me with my music. You both provided me with essential feedback, which arguably had the biggest impact on me. @DavidOrr, taking your advice to heart helped my songs have more progression and actually develop stories of their own. Your advice on structure and variation is honestly a piece of advice I would pay for. Playing around trying to make odd time signatures sound good, drastically improved how I worked when with normal time signatures. @Waterflame, your advice for me to be more creative with my songs, mixing and matching sounds and using timbres that aren't commonly used. I might do this a little too much these days, changing my instrumentation every 3 seconds xD. You even inspired me to literally use an explosion in my Tinkerer's workshop 2 xD. Oh and also, for moulding my taste in music over the years.
@TripleG9
A quick shoutout to TripleG for being the first person to draw me fan art :). I hope it's alright if I use this as the icon for the super secret thing that all of you should definitely look for, wink wink nudge nudge ;)
@TomFulp
Thanks for putting up with me xD
And finally, thank you to the entire Newgrounds community and all the people who d̶o̶w̶n̶l̶o̶a̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶u̶l̶l̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶s̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶l̶i̶e̶n̶ ̶h̶o̶m̶i̶n̶i̶d̶ ̶H̶D̶ supported me and my music throughout the years. Your direct and indirect support continues to make my dreams a reality!

(I sat with Newgrounds open waiting for hours just to get this screenshot xd)
All that aside, let me talk about the song!
Fun fact, I was actually busy working on another song when I realized I was about to hit 420. So I dropped everything and started working on this xD. I actually finished this a couple of days ago, but I wanted to release the other song first, just to keep my songs in chronological order. Sadly I'm having great technological issues with the other song, so I decided I've waited too long and that I have to upload this one now, or it will be too late.
The song I was working on was a remake of Farewell since it continues to be a stain on my portfolio. I decided to give it the love and attention it deserves, and I really like how it's come out. Now, my biggest problem is exporting it xd. I'll figure something out tho. Honestly, my projects are getting too big. I recently upgraded from 16 GB ram to 32 GB, and FL Studio is still taking up around 70% of my memory. I think I might have to get even more ram xd.
Anyway, thank you all for the support and I hope you enjoy the song! (even when making a happy song I still can't seem to leave the minor key xD)
