If I am paying for a Standard Digital subscription, will I still see ads on the website?
Yes. Subscriptions alone do not cover the costs of producing quality local news, and our advertisers — many of them local businesses — provide readers with useful shopping information on deals, new products and more. Supporting these advertisers helps us provide news coverage at an affordable price.
What about ad blockers?
If you are not a subscriber and use an ad blocker on your browser, you will get a popup box preventing you from reading content every time you visit. If you have an ad blocker, you can subscribe and keep your ad blocker on to keep reading or turn off your ad blocker to receive your limited free page views before we require a subscription to continue reading. Alternatively, if you do not wish to use an ad blocker and do not want to see ads, we offer a Premium Digital subscription which is ad-free. -
