Manuel Ceniceros is a Chicano fine art and street photographer based in San Diego, California, with more than 44 years of experience in photography and visual media.
Throughout his career, Manuel has worked across multiple creative fields, including photojournalism, fashion photography, directing, video editing, and motion graphics. His work has always been rooted in visual storytelling and an exploration of everyday life.
Now retired, Manuel has returned to photography purely for the joy of creating. His current work focuses on black and white street photography, documentary-style images, and fine art photography that capture the character of everyday places and the people who inhabit them.
Drawing inspiration from light, shadow, texture, and fleeting moments, Manuel’s photographs reflect a quiet observation of the world—finding beauty in ordinary scenes and human connection in everyday life.
His work is influenced by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, embracing imperfection, simplicity, and the authenticity of real moments.
