Last week, we gathered with renewed post-summer enthusiasm at the Canada-Serbia Business Networking event: Connected for Growth.⚡️ It was a fantastic opportunity to come together on the occasion of the visit of Andrej Zdravkovic, Senior Vice President and Chief Software Engineer at AMD – a true leader in global #innovation – whose visit to Serbia marked the celebration of AMD’s 1-year anniversary in the country.🎉 The event highlighted the importance of #trade, #investment, and #partnerships across sectors including #ITC, #mining, #manufacturing, #aerospace, and many more. We proudly acknowledged the contributions of local partners who continue to drive #innovation, #resilience, and #growth on both sides. 🤝 We also took a moment to recognize our trade successes 📈—with #exports and #imports steadily increasing, and Canada-Serbia trade on track to surpass CAD 200 million for the first time in our shared history. A milestone worth celebrating! Trade and investments create jobs, allowing people to stay – in their cities, in their communities, in their home countries. That’s the kind of growth that creates lasting impact. That’s why #tradematters! Here’s to continued growth, stronger partnerships, and many more milestones ahead! 🇨🇦🤝🇷🇸 Filip Petrovic
