In the past, before the days where man could bottle electricity, legends were passed along of how lightning was shaped by creatures in the clouds. One such creature was Zeraora. Some say that he came about when condensed lightning struck the top of a mountain several times in a row. The last time it struck, the light did not fade, but instead stood up and walked away. Zeraora's lightning is near silent, and his speed is unmatchable. He is so swift, that he can catch and consume lightning before it hits the earth. He is known as the Lightning Thief, not able to produce electricity on his own. Tales say that the glowing scar across his torso was caused by Zekrom.
