Ragnarok and Emily (3/3) (COMM by Dragonfoxgirl)
Commission by Dragonfoxgirl ( https://x.com/dragonfox_girl ) This series of three commissions was done a long time ago, back when the 'Ragnarök' saga was still in development. Thus, this particular version of Godzilla DOES look a little different than he does in his official reference commission (his size also different from how tall he actually is), but some aspects of this artwork will show up in future artworks, like the details of his scars.
Anyway, the story 'Hotel Ragnarök' has yet to be completed as of this upload, but, for now, here's a series of cute artworks of him and the ever-cheerful and kind-hearted seraphim, Emily!
Never before had Ragnarök felt such gentleness since he got mutated. Such kindness. Somebody who found beauty in the mishappen and scarred thing he had become. The way her hands moved across his scales, while his claws gingerly moved through her hair and felt her warmth...at long last, a smile graced his lips, tears threatening to form in the corners of his eyes.
As for Emily, she had through this kaiju's scowling exterior. She had seen the good in his soul. She didn't see a monster, but somebody with the capacity to care again. To love again.
