Painting I've owed Rooth for a long time. I had one of those things where I scared myself and procrastinated. It was stupid. My brain is stupid. But it's done at last.

Honestly no matter how long it took you but this piece is absolutely astounding in every way possible
The whole visage of a beast flying across the bright and filled with clouds skies like an angel in a heavens just raises spirit and truly feels invigorating bringing a piece of beauty in gray reality
And with no shade of a doubt with these snow-white and pure scales Rooth looks like an angelic being that dwells beyond reach of mere mortals showing himself only to ones who is worthy and in need
Such wonderful and kind soul like him totally deserves to be portraited like him and being granted with such gift
This work is beyond any words of praise and appreciation. All of them would be too weak to describe magnificence like this. This is the art that can be remembered for the ages
Epic art

Kind of relieving to hear that even amazing artists like you sometimes scare themselves and end up procrastinating painting things. Means I'm not a lost cause just yet. :')
That aside, the painting came out wonderfully! I love the visible texture of the paint as well as the limited colour palette. :)

Oh heck yeah!! I am so sorry this scared you into procrastination somehow, but trust me, I was in the least hurry for it ever, because it was for such a good cause. And I must say, as awesome as it is (and perfectly fitting my color scheme ^_^), it looks even better in sunlight! On that note: did you seal it? I think it's sealed. Kinda hard to tell. I mean, I'm not going to hang it directly in the sun, but in this house, there are few 'safe' spots that are also completely sunless, and in good viewing distance from my guests.
WELL DONE

It was all my own brain being insane. Sometimes it just ... idfk gets caught up in stupid stupid stuff.
I.... I can't remember! I think so... But if you want to be extra double super sure you can get an oil-based varnish spray from any sort of art store (michaels). Super easy to apply.
