When Vox asked of Yan to bring Neeva later for a talk, he was not exactly specific what later meant. As they met during the night, they cleaned themselves of the gore from the gang war and made their way to the apartment without any distraction. The light of morning sun gently draped over the city as most workers headed for their shifts, Neeva pressed the buzzer of his floor and a tired sounding Vox answered, it took him a few moment to understand what was going on and he let them in.



When they both walked in, Vox told them to keep their voice to a minimum, his roommate was sleeping and it would be extremely unwise to wake them up. Leading them to his room, he wrapped his tail to a pole installed on the ceiling and hung himself upside down. Neeva grunting as she was face to face with his crotch, and the choice of underwear made it hard to avoid eye contact.






''Vox'' Hey you made it, okay cool but yeah i guess i should have been more specific. I just thought since we all come out at night, later would mean... anyway let's cut to the chase. An abyssian does not like being awake during daylight, it greatly affects our mood and the light is just not pleasant. The kind of stings you'd want to avoid heh, luckily neon light is more gentle.




''Yan'' Man its so hard to talk to you this yeah, let me just ( Yan pulled her head off and turned it upside down) There we go, now its easier.





''Neeva'' I don't like being out during the day either, usually i keep those moment for when me and Merry relax. So why did you need to see us in person that bad?




''Vox'' Promise not to get cranky? Amethyst hired me to kill you, but before you scream please let me explain. First i never intended to do it, second i know you are innocent and third... If you yell im not kidding, my roomate will cut you both to ribbons.




''Yan'' hmm.... Fine i guess i won't chew on your bones yet, better have a good reason for me to not kill that Amethyst bitch.





''Vox'' It's that thing, that white beast. The one who injured you greatly, she's been killing employee of your mom. So i drew a little map for you to look, these are all the yinglets she tore apart, at the moment she seems to stalk this area.




''Neeva'' What the fuck is Diama doing, killing her own enclave is one thing but now she's slaughtering any yinglet she finds?




''Vox'' Worst than that, she is targeting mainly female yinglets, right now Amethyst is trying to keep the whole situation out of the other enclaves ear. If we don't stop her then we'll have a nice panic situation, it will be hard to aid anyone by that point.





''Yan'' So that means she'll kill your funny friend too heh Neeva? The one who always get on your nerves.




''Neeva'' Apart from you? SH.......shit kel! Damnit i need to make a call right now, Sorry Vox but i got to go, i'll try to roam around the zone at night, maybe i'll get a rematch. You coming Yan?





''Yan'' awww man.... i can't. I gotta jab a lot of people with needles, plus the Maker is coming for a visit. Hey Vox can i log off this body here? You can poke it if you want heh, i won't judge.





Neeva quickly headed outside making a call to Lumi, ordering her to protect Kel immediatly. She also gave a call to Val telling him to keep Sei-sei under heavy protection until Diama was gone. She wanted to ask so much more from Vox, such as why Amethyst wanted her dead but she knew the answer would come soon enough.
