Though a cause for frequent bickering, the prominent dragonkin factions had distinctly different ideas on how to handle their newfound curse. The Nodon dragonkin, architects and master builders elected to enter stasis, experiencing life in the collective dream, their magnum opus, a simulation of the world free from pain of their curse.
As this was only a temporary measure, they charged the Dactyl with the duty of remaining conscious in order to find a suitable cure, hopeful that the Nodon could one day awake, cured of this terrible affliction… but for Skarakesh, this was more than just an obligation of the dactyl creed… it was a promise: His scion, Naressa was among them.
Facing the prospect of her growing up without a father, the mother, Shashek, besearched him to join this dream, but Skarakesh refused; He would have done anything to ensure their wellbeing… even if that meant breaking their hearts…
Which of course it did: Any hope for a cure quickly faded over the course of years-turned-centuries, and many of the Nodon hibernatorium facilities fell into disrepair as their caretakers abandoned their duties having been driven mad by the grip of their curse.
Now, in the 4th age, back from his exile, Skarakesh returns to Naressa's cradle, to find she too has drowned in stasis and his sacrifices for her sake are now in vain.

Really tragic... Though the art is beautiful. I love the design of the stasis chamber and the stone around it. Not to mention the characters themselves and how realistically drawn they are. Overall Izrez really did an amazing job as always!
I really like the story as well! Very well written! Good job to everyone who worked on all of this. :3
