So who am I? Let's dive into detail.

Today I'm mostly active as a goth/cyberpunk freelance writer and artist and I'm also a transhumanist who's also dabbed into sex work and voice acting. I have a deep interest for science, ecology, self-sustainability and I'm experimenting with hydroponics to ensure a healthy and safe future and longevity. Because of this, everything I went through in 2020 ( which is somewhat summed up here >> ) and with everything happening so far in 2021, I've changed a lot from who I was a year ago. And as I change as a person, so does my character. That's why the cute goth girl Val below has now turned fully into cyberpunk Val, a permanent change of character I tend to keep. Will you see future art of both old and new Val? Probably, but this is likely my new standard, so to speak. A story canon and art is coming soon...~ Long live the Synthwave~

While today I'm a nurse since many years, in stories I often play as a younger version of myself from my university days that study magic. A gothic sorceress, woo! I'm also a cook and I looove cooking food and brewing mead where I live in my little cottage on the countryside. I'm a goth in heart and soul, and I'm a nature-loving neopagan who tend to my gardens and snuggle cats and horses. I'm a metalhead first and foremost, but I also love folk, pagan, gothic and atmospheric.

While coming from the countryside, I moved into and lived in a big city for many years where I attended university and got involved in politics. Today I'm an advocate for IT security and an active member in the Pirate movement. I'm also pretty much a nerd who loves fantasy, role playing games, Warhammer 40k, mysticism, history (especially History of War) and the occult. The world is a magical place if we learn to see it, and there's nothing better than studying ancient texts by candlelight while a storm rages outside. I'm a very open-minded, wild, rebellious and spontanious entity, at the same time as I'm philosophical, spiritual and withdrawn. I'm a whirlwind of faces and words. Poetry and art is one of my great passions and I love being on stage, acting or just sink into a poetry-induced dream and get lost in fairytales. I also love to travel, explore new worlds and places and my curiosity knows no bounds. I am a curious little creature who enjoys walking this earth, love with passion and without regrets, and dance on the water under a full moon.
I also have 2 alternate forms: Mamba, Female Naga, sorceress [ NSFW ref | SFW ref ] The darker and more experimental side of me; and Nightmare, Mare, feral Hel-horse. The softer, caring and spiritual side of me.

Who I used to be: Lily, female seadragon - and she still remains with me today :wink: [ NSFW ref | SFW ref ]
I grew up on the countryside with forests, fields and animals. I was 12 when I learned to drive a tractor, and a few years later a harvester. Folk- and country music (especially honkytonk and country rock) were in my blood. I was taught self-sufficiency above all and as a teen I was able to perform minor repairs and maintenance of both house and vehicles. This lead me to become quite the tomboy, being used to dirty-work and heavy lifting. I spent my childhood in the forests, building treehouses, harvesting crops, fishing and shooting. It was when I was 16 that "Val" was born. I moved into the big city to attend high school and after that university, and city life changed me. Val is who I am, but Lily is who I grew up as, and she still resides within me. And I like that. Normally I'm a goth, but some days when I feel more like Lily, the jean kutte and JD cap gets put on~
School was not easy for me and I toughened up a lot, which lead to the following:

Being tall and a tomboy never made me popular with the boys, so I decided to try and beat them at their own game. Thanks to this recruiting video and the message at the end "Everyone's everyday is not like ours" - I signed up for the army. It was a period of my life where I wasn't well and it let me in on a very destructive path. The drunken furious badboy that this character is came to symbolize who I was all too well. I still do partial service to this day - just not active duty anymore. As much as I don't like who I was then, it did help shape who I am today.
