The rain stopped and the sun broke through, lighting this spot in the forest in the Lake District... I was secretly hoping a bird might sit on the log for me, to complete the picture, but no such luck!

 

I like how one of the automated tags that flickr added is 'serene' because that's how it felt.

After the stormy weather Monday much of the blossom was blown from the trees! Grey again today but supposed to change tomorrow for the better :)
