Forza Horizon 6 Stamp guide
What are Stamps in Forza Horizon 6?
Stamps in Forza Horizon 6 are one of the reward systems you can collect and claim while driving around Japan. Collecting the right amount of points to move up a Stamp tier will net you better rewards, and they’re also very important if you want to collect all the Barn Finds. On that note, here’s our Forza Horizon 6 Stamp guide.
On this page:
How to get Stamps in Forza Horizon 6
You can get Stamps by collecting Japan Points (JP) through exploring Japan, participating in activities and finding certain collectibles, like the regional Mascots. Each time you collect enough points, you’ll automatically move up to the next Stamp tier.
Here are all the ways to collect points for Stamps in Forza Horizon 6:
- Discovery
- Touge and Street Racing
- Touge and Street Rivals
- Friends
- Photography
- Car Collection
- Regional Mascots
- Tokyo City Food Delivery
- Day Trips
- Drift Club Japan
- Moto Auto Zine
- Yuji’s Auto
- Car Upgrades
- Garages
- Houses
- Master Explorer
You can check your progress towards your next Stamp by entering the 'Collection Journal' menu and selecting the 'Discover Japan' option on the right. This will then open up the menu where you can see all of the activities that will help you get Japan Points.
In the top left corner of the screen, you can also see your current Stamp Level and how many points you have collected, as well as how close you are to reaching the next Stamp Tier.
Also, if you select a category in this menu you’ll be able to view what tasks you’ve got left to do as well as hints on how you can complete it to earn more JP.
Stamp Tiers explained
There are currently seven Stamp Tiers to work through, the higher the Stamp Tier you’re in the better the rewards you can unlock. For example, Barn Finds are locked behind the Tier you’re in:
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Pink
- Orange
- Purple
- Gold
The amount of Japan Points you need to progress through each tier will gradually increase, meaning you’ll need to put more effort into collecting Points the higher you go.
That being said, I’ve found myself naturally collecting JP just by having fun, taking part in races and exploring freely without putting too much pressure on myself to complete things. In short, you’re going to collect JP without knowing it.
Forza Horizon 6 Stamp Rewards explained
Moving up a Stamp Level is not the only reason you’ll collect Japan Points in Forza Horizon 6. Take part in the 'Discover Japan' activities or find collectibles within it to earn individual rewards from each section.
When you enter your 'Discover Japan' menu in your 'Collection Journal' you’ll instantly be notified if you have any rewards by a small present icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
There will also be yellow present icons by the categories you’ve obtained them for, and a number telling you how many rewards are waiting for you here.
You can check your progress towards the next section’s reward by clicking on a section and entering its submenu. In this menu, look at the top right corner of the screen. This will tell you what the next reward is and how many Japan Points from that category you need to reach it.
Now, that bit is important - you must earn the JP from activities, collectibles, or tasks in that category to earn its rewards. For example, if you earn JP for smashing Mascots, you will not make any progress towards rewards in the 'Houses' category. The JP will only be applied to the Mascot rewards.
While your Stamp Tier will upgrade automatically, you must enter the Collection Journal to claim your JP rewards, so check back in frequently!
