As the leader of the free world repeated, “That’s hard to miss!” Minaj, who has been an avid supporter<\/a> of Trump during his second term, stood up and waved one finger in the air as she did a spin and wave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t“I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki,” continued Trump, who has been hitting the road hard over the past few weeks in an attempt to boost Republican prospects as polls suggest that Democrats are likely to win the House<\/a> and potentially narrow the gap \u2014\u00a0or possibly flip \u2014\u00a0the Senate at a time when the second-term president is facing historically low poll numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tHis remark about the rapper’s body came after he’d repeated his previous comments<\/a> praising Ohio Sen. Jon Husted’s posterior, this time pausing to clarify, “Off the record: Women, yes. Men, no.” Trump later called Minaj up to the stage, where she led a chant of “We love Trump!<\/a>” and joked to the term-limited president, “If you run again, I will support you again.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tThe whole Trump team seemed to be on Team Nicki over the weekend, with White House communications director Steven Cheung joking that he may have found a replacement for Katie Zacharia, the blink-and-you-missed-her White House press secretary who made history<\/a> recently thanks to her historically short five-day tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tCheung posted a video<\/a> of himself talking to Minaj aboard Air Force One in which the rapper heaped praise on Trump’s business acumen at a time when the country is facing an affordability crisis caused by escalating food and gas prices due to the administration’s war in Iran and unpopular tariff regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\tWaxing on how Trump has repeatedly “worked his way out of not having a dollar in the bank” \u2014 a seeming allusion to the real estate mogul’s six bankruptcies<\/a> \u2014 Minaj described Trump as “tough” in the clip.
