The court filing, obtained by <em>Billboard<\/em>, says the footage shows \u201cSeaver\u2019s altercation with police,\u201d but offers no other details on the alleged incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \"\n>\n\tAttorneys for both sides did not return requests Thursday (Oct. 29) for comment on the subpoena. A spokesperson for Vanderbilt, where the subpoena was sent, also did not return a request for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \"\n>\n\tThe new filing is the latest escalation in the nasty litigation that cropped up weeks after the iconic country singer <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/country\/dolly-parton-cause-of-death-1236324654\/\"  >passed away at the age of 80<\/a> after a brief battle with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \"\n>\n\tShe\u2019s Alive, her estate company run by longtime manager <strong>Danny Nozell<\/strong>, sued Seaver last month, accusing him of trying to extort money by sending violent threats like \u201cI\u2019m a killer\u201d and \u201call I do is warfare.\u201d The court quickly issued a temporary restraining order, barring Seaver from further contact while the case plays out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \"\n>\n\tSeaver has denied threatening anyone and said his words have been taken \u201cout of context.\u201d In <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/dolly-parton-nephew-fights-restraining-order-denies-threats\/\"  >a response filing in court<\/a> earlier this month, his lawyers said the estate had misrepresented an \u201cultimately friendly exchange between two longtime friends\u201d into a \u201cclaim of terror\u201d in order to haul him into court over a business dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n\t\tclass=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \"\n>\n\t\u201cWhat [She\u2019s Alive] actually fears is speech: Mr. Seaver\u2019s stated wish to tell his family\u2019s story on a podcast, to go to <em>Billboard<\/em> Magazine, and to &#8217;embarrass&#8217; a business partner he believed was mistreating his family,\u201d write Seaver\u2019s lawyers, <strong>Dominic Leonardo<\/strong> and <strong>James Collier<\/strong>. \u201cThose are not threats of violence.
