Stuck on "joining friend"

my friend recently got stuck on "joining friend while trying to connect with me, we have tried everything we can possibly think of from flushing all the dns settings and whatnot, disabling firewall, removing all mods, and even trying to just join on the regular terraria launcher to no avail. everything from our pc's to our modems have been reset on both ends multiple times but still nothing, we have also tried direct connecting via IP both ways and still nothing. i am truly at my wits end for po...

Migration failed on startup

I dont know what has failed, but i have tried doing some of the things on the github link it sent me to, specifically reinstalling onedrive, and also deleting it, ive tried reinstalling tmodloader, and deleting the tmodloader file to fix that too, nothing works. i dont know what there is to migrate, i tried to migrate player files but this is confusing me further by doing it manually

wired visual issus

Continued Game Crashes

I'm not sure what has been happening but in my calamity world (+ other mods) my game has continued to crash. until about an hour ago, I was able to traverse the whole world but now when I start to travel to the left side, my game crashes.

Tmodloader flashing my desktop when I click on something

I am not sure when this started to happen or why, every time I try to use tmodloader My desktop gets flashed every time I click. I have searched for reasons and solutions, but I have not found any that actually helped fix this issue. I have tried turning on frame skip, I have tried capping my fps, I have tried optimization mods, I have tried using, and not using fullscreen (same with borderless windowed). When I try setting my monitor refresh rate to 60 and running vanilla Terraria, I get no flickering. I tried the same for Tmodloader with all mods off, I got flickering. EDIT: I forgot to mention my game likes to crash and i cant play for longer than like 3 minutes lol...

Can't delete mod

Theres a mod I have downloaded, and it won't let me delete it, it literally just does nothing when i click the delete button, i've tried unsubscribing and it won't delete, i tried unisntalling and reinstalling Tmodloader and it wouldn't let me uninstall this mod.

Terminal saying no such file or directory when manually starting tModLoader

I’m trying to play on Mac and start tModLoader via the start-tModLoader-FamilyShare.sh. It seems like everything goes fine until the second to last part of everything in ScriptCaller.sh, where it gives the error ‘sed: /proc/1/cmdline: No such file or directory’ I’ve been able to launch tModLoader on this Mac before, although I did have to mess with stuff a little and that was I think two years ago.

How to be host of a dedicated server/Remove blacklist of OreExcavator on a server

Hello 👋 I just created a dedicated server and I'd like to setup mods on it. Specifically Ore excavator. When hosting directly I can modify the "World settings" because I'm the host but because it's dedicated I cannot. I found the "OreExcavator Config in the files, but I don't want to add every items one by one. My questions are the following : Is it possible to add a player to be the "host" of a dedicated server and/or can I disable the blacklist (Allow every items to be excavated) in Ore excavator ?...

Main engine crash during world gen

Just re installed terraria and TML after a year since last playing it. The game was okay but maybe two hours into a playthrough it would freeze then crash. Now it crashes during world gen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both terraria and TML. I unsubbed from all my mods as well and then resubscribed to them

I’ve been having problems with loading into a multiplayer world with my friends and it would get stuck at 4 or 8% tile loading data for the past few days. It got to the point where I had uninstalled tMod and attempted to reinstall however it told me the content file was locked. I tried various solutions and had to delete steam and reinstall it for tMod to let me load in for that one session. I tried loading in today and it still wouldn’t work so cut to the chase I delete steam again and reinstal...
