When she isn't writing, Cat can be found curled up in the sun with a good book, too much caffeine, and a mess of pens and color-coded tabs. Either that or starting another craft project she probably won't finish or spending way too much time obsessing over planners and stationery.

    Ma'am this is a collection of paranormal mostly poly (except for the last short). Lots of bodily fluids so be prepared. I love how the author is intentional about writing consent on pgae.

    LBB is Cat Giraldo's second collection of short erotic monster stories that are fun and so 🥵

    I mean, I uncovered a couple things about myself while reading this.

    You will find a wide variety of k¡nks, body positivity, and queer and poly rep within these four amazing stories.

    If you're looking for something steamy, quick, diverse read, you just found it!

    This is a great collection of spicy short stories to read in one evening, especially if you're in a book hangover or can't decide what to read. There are 4 short stories in this collection and the author does an incredible job with each, getting you invested in the characters quickly. As each story ended, I both wished to read more about them while also being ok letting the characters go in order to read the next. I think being able to do both says a lot about the author and her ability to create worlds, settings and situations with a limited amount of words to do so. I enjoyed that she also gave us information as the story progressed, sometimes as a little twist, sometimes as a bit of a cliffhanger.

    The spice is spicy y'all. She writes it well, and writes some unique characters and....situations. As a reader, I appreciate that Cat is also super upfront about her content so readers can easily avoid any story that may not be for them.

    In terms of how I felt about each story:
    Story 1 - Tugged at my heart the most. I want to know so much more about this trio and I desperately wanted to read their HEA.
    Story #2 - The sexiest. I would happily read a full length story about these 3 characters.
    Story #3 - The longest and most developed. This one left me a bit unsettled, even with their HEA.
    Story #4 - The shortest, and left me wondering the least. Felt complete as it was and I didn't need anything else from them.

    Each story is uniquely it's own and you have a short collection of four stories. It almost feels like each story is part of a much larger story and she put these together to get you to purchase the much larger, longer versions. They're wonderfully written and the spice.....THE SPICE. They're spicy. You won't regret giving them a read honestly. It didn't take me long to read them either. Give this a shot, you won't regret it at all!
