    Hello,

I have a problem and question I am stuck with for a while now.

We have a webshop in two languages, Dutch and English (USA). We sell one product (for the time beging) and in the Netherlands it is mandatory to show the prices on a webshop including VAT. In the USA it is again customary to show prices exclusive of VAT.

In WooCommerce we have only one option, input prices with or without VAT but I need both…? Or any other common solution to this problem. I don’t know how to solve this in a neat and good way? Does it have to be 1 webshop or should I make several? Can this at all be solved with one webshop?

What is the right way here?

I don’t think I’m the first to have this problem.

Any help or information is welcome.

  • Hi @precies

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you have a multilingual store and VAT display is one of your concerns here.

I found this documentation on How to handle multiple regions and currencies with WooCommerce could be a good starting point.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello @xue28,

Thank you for you response, I read the documentation but this is’nt solving my issue / question.

So let me put it another way. If I want to show prices of ONE product in two different ways, Netherlands with TAX and USA without TAX, is this possible with a normal WooCommerce webshop with WPML installed? Or do I have to create a multisite or something like that?

    Hello,

WooCommerce core does not include that feature by default. My apologies.

As an alternative solution, you can check if this plugin: Tax Display by Country might help you out with your requirement, please note it is a plugin that is not supported by us.

I hope this points you in the right direction.
