unable to add / register user

    hello

    we need to register users for affiliation program but unfraternally its not working everything seems to fine but when ever someone try to register they fill the form and when click on submit its redirects to register page and when we try to register users manually from backend its says user registered but its not showing in user list also when we try to register from login page getting error

    Error: Could not register you… please contact the site admin!

    what is the reason why this is happening? its really urgent can somebody me?
