I use Finnish on my website and to change translation for some words I use Loco Translate – works for Woocommerce and other plugins quite well. Try it out.
Thank you both for the quick reply and the help provided.
@henesuo
Thanks, I am aware of that, but I didn’t want to add more plugins.
@amiralifarooq
I already tried to edit the .po file. There are several strings with the same term “saving”. Some should stay as they are and some not.
How can I know which one is the right one?
After inspecting it, I got this information:
wc-block-components-product-badge wc-block-components-sale-badge
Can you maybe guide me better with this information?
Thank you
Asterios
Hi,
After inspecting it, I got this information:<br>wc-block-components-product-badge wc-block-components-sale-badge
You can provide us the link to that page, and we can take a look.
However, please note this forum is for inquiries related to WooCommerce Core, by default WooCommerce is not created to perform translations or to alter certain strings on your site, with the help of certain plugins like the Loco Translate you can do that.
Another alternative is the Say What? Plugin to help you to change strings on the site. More info is here.
I hope this helps.
Hello Igor,
thank you for the reply and the help.
The link is:

Choose the 9.9.2023 and add it to the basket.

Hello @asterioskma,
The term “save” is translated to sparen
in Dutch, in Dutch(sie) it’s speichern
.

I’m no language expert so I’m not sure which translation is correct. 🙂
If you think this is wrong, then you can contribute to the translation of WooCommerce from here.
Alternatively, you can search for the string in Loco Translate and replace it. On my test site its save %
.

Hope this helps!
Hello Saif and thank you for the links.
Yes, I have found the term in the files and have already suggested the correct translation. I hope it will work soon and that our suggestions will make WC better :-).
Thank you and every one for the support provided.

You’re very welcome, @asterioskma! 😃
I will mark the thread as solved. If you have a few minutes, we’d love it if you could leave us a review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
Cheers!
Thanks, @asterioskma for reporting the problem. Your translation has been approved and will be included in the next translation update.
Hello @asterioskma,
I encountered the same issue with the Spanish translation for ‘Save’, in this case it should be ‘Ahorra’ instead of ‘Guardar’. However, I am unable to locate the files for wc-block-components-product-badge and wc-block-components-sale-badge. Could you please direct me to the file that contains this specific string?
Thank you.
