Hi there, thanks for reporting! Does this happen for every field, regardless of content? It sounds like this reported issue. That issue only happens when a certain limit (the end of the line) is reached. Can you confirm or is it another issue you are having?
If it’s not the issue I linked to, can you let me know what happens when you perform a conflict check; disable all plugins and switch to the Twenty Seventeen default WordPress theme? And also check for JavaScript errors? That will help us tremendously!
Hi,
I cannot change my theme on a working company site….
I’m sorry but I deleted it.
It’s not a conflict issue.
It worked perfectly fine until the update of 9.2
It’s not the reported issue, the first tab is blank, not showing the meta description etc. fields. It’s totally white, the tab with the little “traffic lights” icon.
It’s a bug, fix it.
Thank you

Hey Benvaassen,
It doesn’t matter if the field is empty or full.
When I start writing the text cursor goes constantly back to the beginning of the sentence. It’s not possible to change or edit anything at this moment.
At the moment I write my text in notepad and paste it back in the titel, slug or meta description box.

P.S. what I did notice is when you write really fast without a short break it does work.
But as soon as you take a short break….. it starts happening.

Thanks for the input, we’ve been able to figure out what’s happening. The snippet preview only shows the bug when you’ve edited the content first and when you type slowly. If you don’t edit the content, the snippet works correctly.
We can and will start working on a fix now. The fix is scheduled to be included in 9.2.1.
@iritst In order to fix a bug, we first have to know how to reproduce it. We also need to know if there are any other relevant factors involved (plugins/themes/server settings etc).
This issue is also reported in our GitHub repository here if anyone wants to follow the issue.
I’m marking this as resolved, as your question has been answered.
