This is a strange behavior. Is there a live site where I can have a look?
Just to rule out a possible cause, do you have any page in your site using the same slug as the single event page? The default is “event”.

There is no other event slug being used on our site.
I’ve heard great things about Events Calendar and I’d like to be able to use it.

Hi! How did you solve the problem? We have similiar problem, calendard is still visible, there is no single event page (URL is changed, but we can see only calendar).

I had a look and it seems to be working now. I wonder if you sorted it out?
@tomekaa , could you please try re-generating your site’s permalinks by going to Settings->Permalinks and hiting ‘Save changes’.

I’ve tried to regenerate permalinks couple of times, but without results. When I disable new design, it works properly.

Hello! I have had this same exact issue with my site. Where my single events don’t appear and keep redirecting me to list view but when I de-activate updated designs it works properly. Were you able to get this to work again without de-activating updated designs?

same issue, i resolved it by unchecking the checkbox in Display/
“Use updated calendar designs” – “Enable updated designs for all calendar views”

This is the exact same issue for me too. Thank you for your reply Comkapi as that has helped me out. But of course I’d like to be able to enable the updated designs for all calendar views.
