I want to automatically display all RSVPs in the public attendees list without having to opt in. I have a members only event website in which consent has already been acquired. Therefore, I would like to hide the opt-in toggle that is displayed after an RSVP is hidden and add all attendees to the public facing list.

I found a similar thread here describing my same need: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/automatically-shown-in-public-attendees-list-non-optional/

I’ve tried the suggestions of altering the toggle template. I have successfully hidden the toggle, but automatically marking it as checked does not add the user to the public attendees list.

    Hi @amandaschoedel ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Based on what you’re trying to accomplish, it looks like our Public Attendee List and the Display Attendee Names Alongside Avatars in Public Attendee List knowledgebase articles could come in handy here.

Thanks for those links. I’ve already attempted the solutions in the Public Attendee List article. Those solutions seem to only be applicable to tickets. I’m using RSVPs and Event Tickets Plus, which utilizes a toggle instead of the opt-out checkbox referred to in the article.

I have tracked down the file that renders the toggle (event-tickets/src/views/v2/rsvp/actions/success/toggle.php) and copied to my theme to override it as described in the thread I listed above. I have edited the code so the toggle is “checked” by default. The issue I’m having is that even though the toggle appears to be checked when an RSVP is submitted, the attendee is not displayed in the attendee list.
