Security threat with the file deprecated.php

    My anti-malware plugin detects the file pods/deprecated/deprecated.php as a known threat. My client is very security-conscious. How can I fix this?

    What error are you seeing there? Does it show a link with more info? Nothing loads from deprecated at all unless you are running Pods 1.x related code on your site from 12+ years ago.

    Without knowing which plugin flagged the file or what the nature of the threat is, it’s difficult to say whether the scan was a false positive or not.

    Reading through the file, it likely is false positive, as all the code there is private and would not run except to support very old versions in process of upgrading.
