save & publish not working

    I’m unable to make changes using the customizer. Earlier I was having “fatal error” problems, but then disabling few plugins helped resolve that issue.

    But all these have started cropping up since today’s arcade theme update. I’m using a child theme.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Take a look to make sure the child theme files match the new parent theme files. Even child themes have to be maintained every once in a while after an update.

    Thanks, but when you say match, what exactly am I looking for? I added a functions.php file within the child theme folder to check if that helps with anything, but no avail.

    What files do you have in your child theme?

    If you copied over header.php and modified it, you would have to do that again since the new release has different code in header.php.

    Ah ok. I copied over header.php & footer.php. That must be it then, I’ll have a play around. Thanks for that!
