Hi,
I am having the same problem like robertivan. Have you found any solution?
This plugin is what I’ve been looking for for a long time but this limitation is leaving me desappointed.
Thanks

@Marreiros, i have solved this issue with a little hack. I have used in custom menu this code:
<img src=”/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/image.png” width=”19″ height=”19″ border=”0″ /> Anchor
You can see in action on this site: http://clasament.org .
Hope will be useful for you too.
i don’t recommend use so many images, ’cause every image, loaded from database, eats php memory like post!
So for many-many images please use css sprites!
Here is great example – http://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/replace-wp-menu-text-links-image-sprites/ and some w3 specifications http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_image_sprites.asp
Try to increase in php.ini “max_file_uploads” (and if you use mod suhosin “suhosin.upload.max_uploads”).
In future version all images can be uploaded through media library.
With media uploader in version 2 this problem fixed.
