    Hi,

When I use the code example from this page under ‘1. Change input to button’, hCaptcha stops working, and the Gravity submit button doesn’t display correctly. If I turn hCaptcha off it amends the submit button sucessfully.

    https://docs.gravityforms.com/gform_submit_button/

Please can you take a look?

    Thanks

    Hi @jamessui-1

I was unable to reproduce the issue. Can you show the page which has a problem with the “Change input to button” snippet? Thanks.

I can’t provide a link as the site is under NDA – are you using the latest 2.9.5.2 version of Gravity Forms?

I do not have 2.9.5.2, only 2.9.5. but I believe it is not a reason why I cannot reproduce the issue.

To help, I need to know more information. At least, System Info from the hCaptcha admin page. Also, I have to understand where and how you insert the snippet you mentioned. The bug may be in the wrong implementation of the snippet.

If you have any concerns, you can send this info to my email [email protected]. Without the additional information it is impossible to guess what is going on on your site.

Can you try with 2.9.5.1 – I believe this is the relevant change that has broken it:

    • Fixed an issue where the form submits or the next page is displayed if the previous button does not include the gform_previous_button class when clicked. Note: When using filters like gform_submit_button, gform_next_button, or gform_previous_button to replace the input elements with button elements, make sure to keep the attributes from the original elements. Example code.

I do not have subscription to Gravity Forms – it is a premium product. So, if you want me to test hCaptcha with GF 2.9.5.2, kindly share a zip file to my email [email protected].

Thank you for sharing the latest version of GF. I see no issues with it either. With the snippet, input is changed to button (and this code works for older version of GF, too). Form is not broken, hCaptcha is in place and works.

Could you create a test website with the minimal example: fresh WordPress, just GF and hCaptcha plugins, snippet, and one GF form. Please send me a link to this test site, otherwise I do not know how to help.
