When entering valid URLs with encoded characters like:

https://example.com/?area=Essen+%26+Trinken
https://example.com/?area=%C3%9Cbernachten

The plugin removes these encoded parts … seems like a bug.

Especially the encoded ampersand … its simply impossible.
