@jimon07 Thanks for telling me about this, I wish you had told me sooner though. Can you try to deactivate those plugins, one at a time, and tell me if you are able to add hints?
As it seems. I deactivated all the caching plugins including WP-Optimize and the problem persists. I could not add a resource hint. The same problem and error message occures. I have also added the js file in cloudlflare as a cache exception.
Let try this:
a) can you try to deactivate the plugin, and then reactivate it?
b) can you open up your browser dev tools, click the “console” tab, and tell me if you see an error message when you try creating a hint?
I deactivated and re activated the plug-in and tried to add a hint with the dev-tools open and the were no error in the console.
I’d like to take a closer look at this if possible. Do you have a development environment available that I could login with to check this out myself?
@jimon07 Also, can you tell me which PHP version you are using, as well as your browser?
@jimon07 Please upgrade to version 1.8.1 and see if that resolves your issue.
I have upgarded and now the problem is slightly different. I dont get the same error. it says “Resource hint created successfully. If you have an active caching system, it is recommended that you clear your cache if you are having difficulty viewing these changes.” It is green but the resource hint is still not added. I refresh the page and the resource hints is not there.
I checked the html of the page and i could not find the hint together where the other hints are created.
I have created a testing environment for you to check the problem. How can i send you the details?
The browser is Google Chrome 96.0.4664.45 and the php version is 7.4 FPM
@jimon07 Can you click the “Contact support” button in the plugin and send me a message through that?
Or are you on the WP slack channel?
I ve sent you everything through the “Contact support button inside the plugin”.
Please inform me for anything new.
It been a while and i dont haev news from you. Is everything ok?
@jimon07 I did login to your site, but haven’t been able to figure out exactly where the problem lay. I will need a bit more time if that’s alright.
@jimon07 I fixed the issue- it turns out your db table was missing a column.
Ok, I don’t know how could this happen. And how can I fix it? Because you were working on a staging site.
