Hello,

I have a problem with the default author display when opening texts. We created a columnists and writers section and when including the text of a guest author, with or without a WordPress account, their signature with bio appears correctly in the authors box inserted by shortcode. However, the author’s name is not displayed correctly right at the beginning of the text, below the title, in “By: author”… In this area, the user who registered the post continues to appear as the author.

Oh, yes, and the author pages for authors without an account in the WordPress dashboard do not work either…

Thanks for using our plugin.

In this case, you will have to find the code that responsible for that byline author in your theme, and swapped it out with our shortcode.

Please note that each theme has different structure.
