Hi, and thanks to the authors for this useful plugin.

    Yet, I’m bothered by the sending of passwords through email, which I consider not a good practice. I’d much rather like it if A.) the user would receive a link that would allow him to choose his password uplong login, or B.) upon logingin in for the first time with the password in the email, he’d be forced to create a new password.

    If that possible with Import users from CSV with meta (I guess not since I found no such option) ? If not, is it on the dev roadmap of the plugin ? If not, do you know any other similar plugin that allows for this ?

    @mll,

    Yes, you can change the mail template and change the password for the reset link password.

    Do it and you will have this solved!

    Thank you very much for your quick answer, Javier. I’m glad this is possible.

    It may be useful to other users to see what fields I used, so here is the message I created (it’s in french):

    Bienvenue sur XXXX.

    Pour y accéder, il ne vous reste plus qu'à créer un mot de passe, en vous rendant sur **passwordreseturl**

    Par la suite, vos informations de connexion seront :

URL de connexion : **loginurl**

Votre nom d’utilisateur : **username**

Votre mot de passe : celui que vous allez choisir

    Cordialement.

    Moreover, here is the result of a test I created and that can be used as a reference for the fields mapping in the CSV file:
