Portfolio themes

    Hi.

    I’m about to build a Portfolio site.

    When we use Portfolio theme it has Portfolio plugin or it is core inside the theme, but it is not core to WordPress CMS.

    That would mean I’m locked behind that theme, once changing it, I would have to rebuild Portfolio for a new theme, is that correct?

    Or, whatever custom post type is used in any theme it is a lock for another theme, correct?
