    Hello,

I let my Jetpack subscription expire, disconnected Jetpack from my WordPress account, and uninstalled Jetpack. The last date of the subscription was March 28.

I’m still seeing VaultPress trying to make backups of my site, trying to access /jetpack-temp/jp-helper-xxxxxxxxxx.php etc. with user agent Automattic/VaultPress/0.1 from IPs in Automattic’s ASN 2635.

I would have expected that this stops when my subscription expires, but apparently, it doesn’t.

Since I have disconnected & uninstalled Jetpack, I don’t see my site in the dashboard anymore. Can Jetpack support please pull the plug on VaultPress for my site?

    Thanks.

    Hi @antermoia

    Thanks for reaching out!

We’ve now fully disconnected VaultPress from your site, so you shouldn’t see any further backup attempts. As a courtesy, we typically allow a short grace period after a subscription expires to ensure users have a chance to renew without losing access to recent backups. However, since you’ve chosen to disconnect and uninstall Jetpack, the service is now fully disabled.

If you notice any lingering activity, it may be due to caching or queued requests, but those should clear up soon. Let us know if you have any further questions!
