Hi,
You can try using a plugin such as yoast seo plugin, which produces open graph tags with featured image url for facebook’s scraper to read.
Thank you
Hi, yeas I have just found some older topics about it, sorry to open a new one.
Anyway, I remember there was no need to have a plugin for it a couple of months ago. Maybe WordPress or Hueman update have caused it.
Thank you
Roman
Hi. Have you tried to scrape your link using Facebook debug tool? You will need to have open graph meta tags in your WordPress theme if you opt not to use a plugin. But it is recommended to use a plugin.
I know this is labeled “resolved” but I just wanted to ask this here instead of starting a new topic, I hope that is ok.
I’m currently not using Hueman theme as yet but am in the research/development stage of setting it up to replace my current non Hueman theme.
With my current non Hueman theme I have no issues with my featured image being applied to my Facebook share, so now the issue mentioned in this topic is starting to worry me. I never had to use a plugin in order for the images to display on my FB shares bt I don’t know if that is because I use an seo already. I use All-in-one seo, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I guess I’m just wondering if I should be fine with Hueman and All-In-One seo for my images to continue to appear on my FB shares when the time comes that I start using Hueman theme.
