I have backups scheduled weekly, and always have. Ever since February, the “Next Scheduled Backup Date” is not changing, and remains at February 27th, so the backup isn’t running, and I have to manually backup, which is successful, with no errors. The plugin is on auto-update, and just updated. PHP is v8.2.18, WordPress is 6.7.2, MySQL is v5.7.23-23 if that helps. Backups are successfully stored offsite.

I don’t know what triggers the date to change, but it’s not happening.

    Hi Terry,

UpdraftPlus is using WordPress’s scheduled task system (“WP cron”), so, this suggests that your WP cron subsystem is not working. If you install the free plugin “WP Crontrol”, and look at your scheduled tasks, what do you see?

Sometimes the cause for this is that hosting companies who don’t know what they’re doing decide to disable WP’s scheduled tasks on the (false) theory that enabling it uses more resources (a WP legend that began circulating many years ago and which gained a life of its own and some people now treat as if it were a fact). So if it is not working, I’d ask them to see what they say about that.

    David
