Hi, do you have a ticket for this?

One of our site which was using UAG has upgraded to the latest spectra, but it’s completely failing to recognise the older block. WE’re seeing this across the editor:

    Hey @delanthear ,

Spectra 2.0 is compatible with previous versions. The update isn’t going to affect your old sites in any way.

But It has come to our attention that a couple of old users updating to the new Spectra version are experiencing this issue.

To fix this, first, you’ll need to update the Spectra plugin to the latest version i.e. 2.0.2, and after that, you’ll need to add this “?spectra_old_user=yes” after your URL from the dashboard section as shown in the attached video and you just need to check the editor and you can see that the issue is fixed.

Let us know if there’s anything more.

@rajkiranb Hi! I did that and it does seem to work. Does it fix it entirely, so we just need to load that url once per site that’s affected? OR do we need to make some other changes?

    Hello @delanthear,

The workaround fixes it once, however, we have also a new release of Spectra 2.0.3 that has fixed most issues that came up with the latest updates. Please update to Spectra version 2.0.3. After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets. We do this automatically after the plugin is updated, but just to be sure, go to “Spectra > Settings > Asset Generation > Regenerate Assets” and press the button.

Also, empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2.

    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

    Hello @delanthear,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thank you!
