Latest update causing issues (site won’t load)

    Hi,

    There seems to be a conflict on my site with the latest update. I updated to 2.7.5 this morning, and once I did, the site won’t load. I can access the WP dashboard just fine, the site itself just won’t load, and it eventually times out. I deactivated Max Mega Menu and the site loaded again. I rolled back to 2.7.4, where I’ve left it for now, and it’s working as usual. So it must be a conflict with the latest update.

    I have the same problem.
    Only deactivating the plugin does fix the problem.

    Not sure how to roll back without loosing all the data though.

    Hi othurrr,

    Please install the WP Rollback plugin, then on your Plugins page click the Rollback link and select “2.7.4”.

    Please could you check your error logs and see what the error behind this is?

    @othurrr I am using a plug-in called WP Rollback, I haven’t had any issues losing data. It just allows you to pick an older version of the plug-in you want to roll back. Seems to work ok, I haven’t had any issues with it.

    @megamenu @jimithing007 Thanks for the tip. Rolled back to 2.7.4 and it works again.

    Hi Both,

    Could you try using WP Rollback to install 2.7.5.1? I’ve just tagged it, but it’s not released yet. It would be great if you could check it fixes the issue before I release it fully.

    Great, thanks jimithing007. That narrows down the issue and confirms what another user has found in a different thread. I may have another update, based on the other users suggestion, to test shortly, if that would be OK?

    Thanks both! Please could you try v2.7.6? It is almost the same at 2.7.5.1, but with a similar change reverted from the back end.
