• Hi,

I tried to set the “List of Terms” widgets by Kadence Blocks, with a drop-down formatting, as I need to make the user choose the topic of reading the blog articles, but I can’t find the possibility to view the taxonomies (tag) by language, It lists all the tags of all languages of Polylang. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

    Hi @lcforall

    Thanks for reaching out!

The Term List block you’re referring to is part of the default WordPress Gutenberg editor. I tested it on my site using the Polylang plugin and assigned language-specific categories to posts, but the block still displayed terms from all languages. Check the screencast here: https://share.zight.com/8LuEbdQ6

Can you confirm the categories for each language are properly set up? Check the PolyLang documentation: https://polylang.pro/doc/translating-pages-posts-categories-and-tags/

Please go through our troubleshooting guide (the ones you haven’t gone through yet) so we can rule out some possible causes: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/

I would recommend that you reach out to Polylang plugin support as well. They can provide more information on the translation setup.

Let me know what you find out.

    Regards,
    Archita

    1. I didn’t know it was part of the WordPress Gutenberg editor.

    2. Absolutely, each language has its own categories and tags.

    3. I had already looked at your troubleshooting guide in the past and after reviewing it, I can assure you that I have reviewed the following:

    a. All plugins and themes (I don’t have a child theme) are up to date and working perfectly.

    b. The site cache and its management plugin work great and have never had any issues or conflicts so far.

    c. I have also tried disabling all plugins, except kadence theme and kadence block but with no effect. At the moment I don’t know how to find a solution to my problem, I guess I will have to resort to installing a plugin to get the list of terms sorted by language.
