JoinChat event doesn’t fire

    i have Joinchat installed on several sites, the event JoinChat, that i use with tag manager, doesn’t fire in any website.

    I red your doc but i find nothing.

    I have the Last version of WordPress, 6.5 and Astra theme.

    The problem is that NO EVENTS are generated (neither “JoinChat” nor others).

    Me again,
    working on it I downgraded the plugin to version 5.0.17 and everything works.

    so I’m pretty sure the problem is in the latest version, the 5.1

    Hi,
    There was a javascript error in sending events function in version 5.1 but it has been resolved in version 5.1.1

    I have 5.1.1 and same thing happen! We rely on joinchat event to track conversion on GA4 on multiple sites. Please we need a solution for this ASAP! Thanks

    I tried version 5.1.1 and the event JoinChat doesn’t fire in any website.

    Same problem here! I had to downgrade to version 5.0.17 for the JoinChat event to send correctly.

    Has anyone seen in the latest update the Advanced tab where there is an option called Google Tag Events? If you leave it unchecked you will have the event log as usual. GA4 evolves and Joinchat adapts to its new features https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/11994839?hl=es

    Have you tried version 5.1.2 or later?

    If you don’t share your site’s url we can’t review what’s happening…

    Could you try with this dev version? It’s the next version (5.1.4) but I would appreciate if you could test it first before releasing it.

    It worked fine on 5.1.4. The JoinChat event was sent correctly on GTM!

    Released version 5.1.4 🤞

    It’s no longer necessary to check the Joinchat setting to detect multiple destinations. The script looks for GA4 properties on the old system and the new one and send a “generate_lead” event.

    Also fix send GTM event if function “gtag” it’s undefined.

    @creapuntome, I have update to 5.1.4 and now the button doesn’t works at all, this my website https://centrokalindi.es/ you click on the button and it doesn’t open WhatsApp 🙁
