HTML in caption not saving

    Hello! When editing the html of a caption, heading and p tags seem to work fine but a span tag gets removed when saved. Is there a way around this?

    Updated note: If I add a class to the span it sticks.

    Hi @girdy74. We’re using the TinyMCE editor for these captions. It’s possible to disable that if it’s modifying your HTML output in ways you don’t like. In the “Settings & Help” area you can disable TinyMCE and use straight HTML input for captions.
