How to Remove Sidebar and Blank Space

I wanted to remove the sidebar from all posts, so I went into the singlepost css and removed the ‘get sidebar’ line of code.

It worked, the sidebar is gone, but now there is a big blank space where it used to be. I’d like to remove the blank space as well so that my post takes up the whole width of the page.

Anybody know how to do this?
