    Hi!

I like to prevent the removal/filtering of attributes inside a dropdown of a variation product.

In this case (link to the website) if I select a color (Materialfarbe/ -art) two options are removed from the first dropdown. The same happens if I select “keine Einlage” from the last dropdown (Inhalt der Einlage).
All I want is to keep all options inside the first dropdown (disable the filtering) and do the filtering of other attributes on my own.

Strangely this all works with another produkt of the same installation and I don’t know why this product behaves the way it does!

    Hi @48design,

It seems that the link within the message did not come through, maybe you can share with us a link to the product you’re describing so that we can test it.

Just to mention, the options available in the dropdowns for variation products depend on the individual variations you’ve set.
So, if you wish all the dropdowns to show all options, you will want to create variations for all attributes. You can do so from Product Data → Variations.
Here’s documentation that could also guide you: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#creating-all-possible-variations

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, the URL is in “The page I need help with” above. Here it is again: https://x47prelive.c15.tcrhost.de/shop/flowbook/
I understand that the options shown are based on combinations of the variation attributes. The problem is it doesn’t grey out or disable options, it deletes them completely. This leads to the fact that a user doesn’t see all possibilities, when some attributes are selected.

    Thanks for clarifying.

Seems that the affected part is material color/type: https://snipboard.io/vHDy03.jpg

However, this section does not seem to be coming from the WooCommerce plugin, it’s added by some type of a variation swatches plugin. You will want to check with the plugin author on why this is happening so that they may assist.

    Thanks.

    Thank you, again!

Okay, I will look into the plugin. But the removal of the options also happens if the last dropdown is used, that doesn’t use the styling options of the plugin.

    Best regards,
    Fabian
