We have a double opt-in feature where a user has to confirm the subscription at their end from their email. About the Checkbox, I’m afraid it is currently not possible. But let me go through the rules for Spain and if needed I would push the request to our development team.
@prathameshp In this context it might be helpful to know that there are some legal requirements by EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect by the end of May 2018.
This could explain why a checkbox with an “I agree..” text and a hyperlink to the privacy policy page might become a necessity for many users of this plug-in.

I have been asking for this for some time now, I think I need to highlight that the user / subscriber, needs to be able to do several tasks.. access / edit / delete / control how the data is used in the subscribers section of this plugin so this would mean that the user would need to be able to see what is on the Db setup for only themselves with full administration capabilities to mange their details.
Along with but not just a consent tick box on the subscription widget..
If this needs a one off fee as a non profit I can pay for this but if not I will have to go another route..
do you have a time period when you are going to release this requirement?
I will be willing to pay for this..
