    Hi

    great plugin!

But I’m confused about the “Content Order” feature, since I was expecting it to work like the “Simple Page Ordering By 10up” plugin 😄

As this is not the case, I wonder:

    1. Is Content Order only changing the order in frontent? How? Usually I just alter the publish-date in order to re-order
    2. Can you please add the feature to re-order pages/posts in dashboard, just like the above-mentioned plugin?

    Cheers
    Sascha

@saschinger the basic principle is the same, but the one by 10up uses the default post listings page, which I find somewhat clunky. So, in ASE it has it’s own, custom content ordering page which you can find for example in “Pages >> Order” side menu, if enabled for Pages.

    1. Content Order changes the ‘menu_order’ value, which changes the order in the backend listing page, and can also change the order in the frontend if your query uses ‘menu_order’ for the ordering.
    2. You may simply miss the ‘Order’ sub-menu. Try enabling it for Pages.
