What isn’t working for the dashboard? Are you seeing any error messages? Did you update the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) with the new address?
I can’t get on to the dashboard page at all.
I updated both address, yes.
This is the error.

You can access the login page using below link
http://www.audioplus.co.uk/Wordpress/wordpress/wp-login.php
and if you have copied entire site with the database then you can login using your live site credentials.

Unfortunately it’s not letting me login. I’m getting this error
Error 404 – Not found
Your browser can’t find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in.
I’m presuming this means that the file transfer/database import has gone awry somewhere?

I think this might be an issue you can download the fresh live site database and after then import it to local site and after then made the search and replace using this tool: http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

Thanks Chetan! I’ll try that now.
Also try deleting/renaming your .htaccess file in root WordPress folder, if you’re on Apache web server, that’s where WordPress saves your permalinks url structure!
