Custom Post Type UI and WPML

    Hello!
    I’m currently setting up an online store for a client and I’m using the “Custom Post Type UI” plugin to extend the product filter. So far everything is working fine, but I’m having problems with adding another language. I use the WPML translation plugin, which also translates my product categories without any problems. But I have problems with the two newly created taxonomies. The translation option is not displayed for the content created and the new items are not displayed under the taxonomies in the WPML plugin either.
    What do I have to do so that I can translate them?

    Hi @luxcommunications

    I know we have some intentioned attempts for WPML integration with https://github.com/WebDevStudios/custom-post-type-ui/blob/master/wpml-config.xml but that’s attempting to internationalize and integrate the labels and text based options that we save as part of options in the wp_options table.

    It sounds like your issue may be more around terms not being picked up with some new taxonomies? I’m not aware of any settings with the passed register_taxonomy() function that would dictate whether or not the terms in the taxonomy can be translated.

    If I’m wrong on any part here, let me know so I can ponder what may be going on a bit more.
